Writing Contests Important Notes

It is important to first and foremost remind you that we compile and provide a list of writing contests from all over the world and this listing (as shown in our Writing Contests page) is provided "as-is" and without any warranties.

This listing is provided FREE of charge.

That means we do not charge you. There is no fee to pay. We do not bill you. You do not pay us for submitting your writing. There is NO FEE for entry or submission. None whatsoever.

We also cannot provide all the submission details, only the main ones.

If you need additional information, please contact the source and request additional details from them directly.

One more thing ... good luck to all of you who participate in any one or more of the writing contests (here's a list of the contests we currently have information about). Do let us know that you were a winner of a specific writing contest and we will feature your writing in our member's area.

Best wishes

Important Notes:

- WritersViews.com brings you only the writing contests that have $0 submission fee. In other words, we only list below the writing contests that do not require an entry fee, and are totally FREE to submit. There are obviously many other writing contests, but we don't include them below. Hence you do not pay for entry. Because we only list the free ones.

- In most cases, you have to be at least 18 years of age to participate. Please check the qualification requirements for any of the writing contests you are interested in and make sure you meet these requirements before you submit to their respective content organizers.

- WritersViews.com has nothing to do with the Prize offering and we do not get paid in any ways, shape, or form by the writing contest organizers. We have no affiliation with any of them (unless clearly so stated, but most often we don't) and we do not get paid any portion of your writing contest prize money. They don't even pay us to include them in this writing contest listing. So, your prize is completely 100% your prize. We get no cut of it. But of course Uncle Sam gets his share of tax portion of it indeed.

- A hint on winning these writing contests - read the description of what is expected a few times and just when you think you clearly understand the requirements, go grab a cup of tea or coffee and come back in 20 minutes and read it again to make sure you are absolutely certain what the requirements are. Speaking from experience, many writers submit their writing but never read the requirements carefully so they got disqualified right from the beginning.

Good luck
