Centerville Leaf eBook Writers Contest

Centerville Leaf eBooks Writing Contest organizes annual creative writing contests in various categories, themes, and genres and this year they are looking for the best original work of fiction in mystery or drama that is presented and will eventually be distributed as an eBook to all readers of 18 years of age or older in North America. This is proving to be very popular writing contest (annual event), so make sure you follow all the registration rules prior to your application. Again, please remember this is a NO ENTRY FEE ($0 contest entry fee) contest, and all submissions must be made within the deadline. See additional description below.

Writing Contest Description: The first prize eBook winner is for a specific genre-based (mystery and drama) literature primarily intended for an audience of readers in USA and Canada aged 18 or older. Please read the attached official competition rules before entering the Centerville Leaf eBooks Writing Contest. By submitting an entry, contestants acknowledge that they meet the eligibility rules and conditions to enter the Contest and have read and agree to be bound by the Official writing completion rules and that the judges’ decisions related to the Contest.

Prize: $1,000 First Prize Winner

Entry Fees: $0 (no entry/submission fee)

Start Submission Date: December 1st, 2024 (No entries are accepted prior to this date)

Closing Submission Date: June 1st, 2025

Special Requirements: The finalist and prize winner will be selected after the completion of voting by the celebrity reviewing panel. The celebrity reviewing panel will consist of three well-known authors, novelists, or previous prize winners. All reviews by the celebrity reviewing panel and the writers and authors invloved in voting will be displayed on the Website and will remain online and available for viewing for 180 days after the writing contest is complete and winners have been selected and awarded and prior to the start of next year's Centerville Leaf eBooks Writing Contest. Prior to the announcement of this year's finalist and winner, sometime around end of May 2025, the winner will be flown to Denver, Colorado and will receive hotel accommodation for pre-ceremony preparations, public signing event, publicity and promotional interviews. Upon completion of these promotional events, they finalist will attend the awards ceremony for the Centerville Leaf eBooks Writing Contest. If at that time you are not available for the travel and presentation prior to the ceremony, Centerville Leaf eBooks Writing Contest will choose, in our sole discretion, an alternate means of announcing the Winner.
